Kara Lind gave up her career as an advertising sales executive to follow her dreams. She enrolled in Tante Marie’s Pastry Program in San Francisco in 2005, and now has five Kara’s Cupcakes bakeries in the Bay Area, plus she was a competitor on Cupcake Wars. Every day, Kara’s team creates each batch of cupcakes by hand, using only the finiest ingredients sourced from local producers — ingredients that are organic and sustainable whenever possible. Kara’s Peppermint Twist Cupcakes feature moist chocolate cake topped with White Chocolate Buttercream and sprinkled with crushed peppermint candies.
